Panel 1
Ren floats and stares at her blade which summons around her. Caliburn eyes it.
CALIBURN: But you’re special to me.
CALIBURN: I chose you for the Competition.
Panel 2
Ren grabs her sword. Caliburn floats above.
CALIBURN: The Competition has no room for relationships,
CALIBURN: and certainly no room for a pathetic mortal.
Panel 3
Ren looks angry and clenches her sword in her hands.
CALIBURN: Hold onto your anger.
Panel 4
Big close-up of Caliburn’s eyes.
CALIBURN: That will take you far in the Competition.
CALIBURN: Relationships are fleeting. Victory is forever.
Panel 5
The Caliburn void quickly evaporates and Ren is brought back into Ida’s room. The friends all stare at Ren, concerned. They hold friendship bracelets in their hand.
IDA: Ren, is everything okay?
DAWN: You haven’t made any bracelets.
REN: Huh-?!
