The Beast Legion is a pure fantasy/adventure web manga that takes place in the mystical world Lithopia & follows the journey of a young prince, Xeus who was forced to flee his homeland after it fell to the clutches of the despotic Dragos & his band of Shadow Nexus Minions. After being trained by the Last of the Wizards of Lithopia , Xeus must first master the power of the Guardian Beasts of Lithopia to embark on a journey to save Lithopia from falling into chaos. Join Xeus’ ever evolving journey as he makes new allies & takes on a plethora of evil villains with their own Beast forms.
As a creator, this concept is extremely special to me & has taken me over 3 years to bring it to fruition. It started off as a rough sketch storyboard project & over time I improved upon it. I want to share it with each & everyone one of you & know what you think about the story & the characters so that I can further improve not only my skills but also make the characters more interesting.
I started this manga back in May 2010. At present I work on this project solo but maybe in due time I will be working with other artists to make it bigger. Back in December our website went down due to a conflict between our web designer & the host, but now we’re back, better than ever with a whole new look & alot of great features. So I present to you the new www.thebeastlegion.com.
The new site is jam packed with features including a weekly updated Gallery, Character bios & easy Navigation. We do intend to hold contests pretty soon so stay tuned.
Each of the main characters in the story have a special piece of Mystical armor known as the Beast Transfer’ That allows them to transform into a particular beast with special powers & abilities. More on this will be explained as the manga progresses.
The first two issues focus solely on the Events that take place on Lithopia on the fateful day of the Shadow Nexus attack. I’ve tried my best to make the characters as believable as possible & those that one can relate to.
Issue 3 onwards, focuses on the start of Xeus is journey of self discovery as he decides to visit is former home & comes across various obstacles in his way…
