The Dark Heroes is, you guessed it, another superhero web-comic. But WAIT! This isn't your typical superhero comic. This comic promises a griping plot that will hook on to your attention and imagination so firmly, you'll wish It updated on more than once a week (and it might if you vote for it!).

Down Right Radical is a webcomic about two dudes making their way through college in a world where swamp demons walk among us, Broseidon lives in a beach condo, and the crawlspace under the library is actually a giant blood-worm filled dungeon.

Far from being the wise elder and Man-who-speaks-from-on-high, I have found that life really isn't a cakewalk. In Xane, I express that understanding through two characters who never truly 'win', but get by through inventive means. No one ever really enjoys reading about the guy who gets the girl, beats the villian, and rides off into the sunset. Xane, an average guy from an average empire, probably lost big when he took that rent-a-guard job, but the fates might have saved him from a worse fate, that suffered by the entire human population. Now he comes back to life, or more accurately sentience, the undead warrior is learning just how well off, or worse, the world is without humans. Joined by a kobold as complex as, well, a backstabbing, womanizing onion, Xane begins to figure out where he fits into the schemes of fate.

I don't even know them-some people say they were the neighborhood bullies. I love animals and I can't stand to see cats get chased or dogs kicked. Picture So I told them, people in my area don't hurt the strays. Word got around and they didn't like so they throw rocks at my windows now and I have to call the police or security. Worse-is my Dad's disabled so it can put a target on your back. I went out there to confront them-no, really to STOP them. They wouldn't listen to reason and instead just started cursing at me and swinging. I don't like hurting anyone or anything-I always tell my Dad I'm not fighter-I want everyone to be my friend. I now it's naive-but that's just me. I had no choice-maybe next time they won't kick a cat or throw their shoe at a dog. I'm not proud of myself or anything just what else was I going to do? YOU got me--I hate hearing animals cry and they had already smashed a kittens eye swollen with a rock. I had to stop it somehow. The both ran off in tears the 3rd guy was caught and confessed some things to police.
