Y'know, I thought Primer made sense. And then the time travel started.
Bob: What the hell was that? The comic just *stopped* for over a month!
Trope-tan: No, seriously, did you just get here?
Hiatus-tan: Oh, I did that. The break there. That was me.
Xavius: You unintentionally made *another* hiatus?
Hiatus-tan: Nope, that one was deliberate.
Xavius: Uh. Didn't you say it was involuntary?
Hiatus-tan: This one was necessary. If the comic sticks to schedule for long enough, Continuum-tan's gonna show up.
And trust me. She never stops being annoying.
Bob: You do realise it's equally annoying not to update for over a month?
Hiatus-tan: And you are very welcome.
Jane: Hey, Trope-tan? Why is the plot going nowhere?
Trope-tan: Since I have no idea what to do.
I explained the problems there three comics ago.
Jane: Right, but why not just show that video?
Trope-tan: Video?
Jane: The one that we found in the cardboard apocalypse shelter.
Trope-tan: Shelter?
Jane: The one that we were about to play immediately before the Author died.
Trope-tan: Author?
Jane: The one that showed up as ASCII art.
Trope-tan: Oh, right! That's because I don't know what's on it.
Jane: Aren't you omniscient, though?
Trope-tan: Yes!
Trope-tan: I'm everything. All that once was and all that will be.
I control time and space, love and death.
Trope-tan: I can see into your mind. I can see into your *soul*.
Jane: … really, you can do all that?
Trope-tan: No!
Jane: So you're *not* omniscient?
Trope-tan: No, I am. I have all the powers. All of 'em.
What I don't have is the mental acuity needed to make use of the powers.
Jane: Huh?
Trope-tan: I'm definitely omniscient right now. Every single thing that has ever been known or that ever will be known is in my head.
Jane: But?
Trope-tan: Put simply, there's not that much room in my head. Even considering that I'm a Mary Sue.
I do know everything, but I can't focus on everything at once.
Trope-tan: In fact, it's hard to focus on anything at all, when there's so much *to* focus on.
I have about as much chance of keeping to a coherent plotline as *Primer* has of making sense.
Jane: I understood that perfectly on first viewing.
Trope-tan: Fine. As much chance as *Evangelion* has of making sense.
Jane: Jeez. Good thing that doesn't affect our regular Author.
Trope-tan: Actually, I'm pretty sure it does.
Jane: … that explains an awful lot.
uh
boys?
I don't know what the correct term is.
ah, yes, found the quote.
on the author comment (well, the tropetan as author comment), for the comic where trope-tan gains author status, she says
"Catpeople are awesome and you know it."
so they are catpeople, not all catgirls.
so the boy chars probably aren't technically catgirls.
It appears that google chrome's spellcheck contains "catgirls", but not "spellcheck".
er
So currently it might be a little ambiguous whether the males are currently catgirls or just catpeople.
This might or might not ever be made more clear.
oooh
is the person with the epsilon on the shirt continuum tan?
(because of epsilon delta proofs)
(for all epsilon greater than zero there exists a delta greater than zero such that for all x within delta of A (that is also not A), P(x) )
I haven't though through whether that entirely makes sense or not, just a thing I thought of.
ok, re-read the comic
(skimmed some of the more recent pages)
Fun!
heh.
or, not, you know, just a guess.
for my thoughts on plot
("Thoughts on plot. Plots on thought. Plots on thought on plot sir. There's really quite a lot sir. Plot sir? Where sir? Plots on thoughts on plot sir? On thoughts sir? Yes sir, plots on thoughts. On plot sir? Yes sir, thoughts on plots sir. Plots on thoughts on plots sir!? YES, plots on thoughts on plot sir!
I say!")
The plot video is tied to the apocalypse shelter, which is tied to the oot apocalypse, which is in turn tied to the oot. trope-tan has said o (she got it from the royal family).
Therefore, it seems plausible that the plot could be happened with the ocarina, and that could be a thing.
("Ay, the plots the thing, from the ocarina what threads could sing,
something something something wings,
ehhhhhhhh Macarena! (ah ha!).")
terza rima
("Ay, the plots the thing, from the ocarina
what threads could sing,
ehhhhhhhh Macarena! (ah ha!).
And with these strings
A tale is weaved,
flying with gigantic wings.
O'r author, grieved
apocalypse, survived
no more will the plot be cleaved.
And with the author revived,
how many were going to Saint Ive's?")
oops
yes, I'm here.
I didn't get the first part of that.
also,
yes, time travel w/o predetermination is possible in the comic,
but trope tan suggested that the rush adapter would not be used for that.
They would just use the time travel device they had before.
my argument is that, as trope tan said that she doesn't want to go back before the authorship change, because of clashing art-styles, she also would not want to write in mega man armor, for the same reason.
Were you saying that the rush adapter clashes to the same degree that mega-man armor would?
I disagree, but then I haven't seen what it would look like with mega-man armor.
I didn't really get what you meant in your comment.
oh!
you were addressing trope tan, not me, and talking about the author,
not talking about the author, trope tan.
s/trope tan/trope-tan/
I misunderstood.
oh.
A question for Hiatus-Tan:
Officially, the deadline for answering this question is tomorrow; unofficially, I expect it to be answered between one week and one year from now.
greetings.
