Update: Fam emergency still ongoing, but I may be home a few days this coming week. I will shoot a few strips if I can and get them posted. Thank you for your support, your patience, and your laughter!
Just wanted to let you know that you should feel free to take as much time as you need. Obviously, a family emergency is more important than keeping a regular webcomic schedule.
Glomshire Knights has been on hiatus due to a tragic personal loss in early November, but I am now revising the upcoming storyline and hope to have new episodes going live by early March. Thanks for your patience and your good wishes ~ Dennis
Yes, it literally has taken years for me to get around to working on GK, but it is starting to boil up in my creative consciousness now and then. I'm in the midst of an archive dive at the moment, familiarizing myself with the various story crumbs I left along the way. While we may not come back as a weekly strip as in the past, I've always felt I left things rather abruptly -- sort of like the castaways being left on Gilligan's Island when the show was cancelled and all that. My main characters are still in the very same craft organizer I put them in when I stopped production (Let's just say it was a major blow and I really couldn't revisit the strip because of the memories and heartache). If you were a regular reader, I apologize for simply disappearing; if you've stumbled upon this little story of mine during the time since I've gone dark, I hope you liked it. If the Knights indeed do tell me a new tale to share, even if it is in a revised format, please be assured that notice will be served here first.
Thank you,
Dennis Price
But only if you really want to!
