Here’s another sketch of an upcoming comic without any dialogue as to not spoil the story! It’s partially inked to give you a look into how I work. This comic is part of a storyline I’m working on that will appear on Comics Kingdom in a few months after they finish running the Wolf and Little Pig #3 Lost at Sea storyline. I know posts have been infrequent on my site as I’m building up material for Comics Kingdom, but please bear with me a little while longer because new comics will be coming!
Suburban Fairy Tales launches on King Features Comics Kingdom today! Here are a few updates regarding the current status and future of the comic strip:
1. In order to introduce new readers to Suburban Fairy Tales, the series will begin on Comics Kingdom with the Pig 3 and Big Bad Wolf Lost at Sea storyline. This was one of my favorite stories and a good jumping on point for new readers!
2. For the next few months I’ll continue to post my favorite older Suburban Fairy Tales comic strips here on social media until the Lost at Sea storyline concludes on Comics Kingdom. I have a lot of older comics to post that many of you have never seen!
3. I’m retroactively making Wolfette the sister of the Big Bad Wolf instead of his cousin. Some of you already thought they were siblings, and I wish I had made them siblings from the start. With my launch on Comics Kingdom, now seems like a good time to fix that mistake. Any past references to Wolfette and Big Bad Wolf being cousins has been changed to brother and sister.
4. If you’re able, please consider subscribing to Comics Kingdom. It helps me and my comic strip tremendously!
5. If you have any questions or comments please share them with me! After years of hard work, this is an exciting time for my comic strip! Thank you all for joining me on this ride!
In case you missed the comic strip announcing this news the other week, Suburban Fairy Tales is going to be syndicated by King Features Syndicate! There’s been a slight change to the launch date, which is now only two days later than previously posted. Here’s the announcement in full:
King Features one of the biggest comic syndicates out there! They distribute so many amazing series including Beetle Bailey, Blondie, Dennis the Menace, Hagar the Horrible, Mutts, Rhymes with Orange, Zits, and tons more! I’m honored that Suburban Fairy Tales is going to be joining their roster of features!
King Features will be handling the distribution of Suburban Fairy Tales going forward. This means my newest strips will now appear first on their Comics Kingdom website along with any other sites or publications that King Features brings my series to. After some time, those new Suburban Fairy Tales strips will eventually make their way here to my website and to social media.
Suburban Fairy Tales is scheduled to launch on Comics Kingdom on or about March 1. To prepare, I won’t be able to post any new strips here on my website for a number of weeks. In their place I’ll be posting random sketches, doodles, and unused ideas from my sketchbook.
I want to thank all of you who have ever read, supported, or followed Suburban Fairy Tales! You all mean the world to me and I hope you’ll come along for this next chapter of the series!
I’ve got a new story out now in Archie Jumbo Comics Digest # 347! This story stars Sabrina the Teenage Witch as she accidentally unleashes Heartbreaker, the anti-Cupid upon Riverdale on Valentine’s Day! It’s up to her and Jughead to stop him!
This was such a fun, heartwarming story to write. Being that Jughead is the only person who knows that Sabrina’s a witch, having him team up with her to stop Hearbreaker was a treat. Also, while I’ve had Sabrina star in my stories before, this is the first time where she’s the title character!
Featuring amazing art by Holly G, inks by Jim Amash, color by Genn Whitmore, and letters by Jack Morelli!
You can get the book from your local comics shop, bookstore, ComiXology, or directly from Archie Comics!

I’ve got a new story out today in Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #342! This is another Fu Chang story, which is jam-packed with action and fight scenes galore! Artist Rex Lindsey did an amazing job bringing my words to life! The book is out now at your local bookstore, newsstand, comic book store, or you can get the digital version on ComiXology. The official summary of the issue is as follows:
TWO BRAND NEW STORIES! First, in “Shop until you Drop,” MAD DR. DOOM is up to his old tricks! This time his plan is to attack what everyone values most—their phones! The BOY BUDDIES are on the case—unless Little Archie and the gang distract them too much!
Then, in “Movie Mishap,” famous director Steven Squealberg is directing a movie and using Lodge Mansion as the backdrop. The movie is based on the true story of an international gang of criminals. Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica are all excited to be extras in the movie, but when a few other background actors are a little too good playing their roles, they’re going to need a real detective on the case: enter, FU CHANG!
