The Legend of Incineroar is a simple-structured action/drama comic starting with a blissful narrative that spirals into a gradually more serious and sinister story. The tone evolves as Incineroar and his allies are faced with increasingly dire, and often absurd, conundrums.
Note: Art quality fluctuates a bit, refining some older pages is an ongoing process.
@blargargy: I hope this new website works out well for you. Just know that I will always be here for you. If you ever need anything, don't be afraid to talk to me. I'll respond as soon as I can.
This cliffhanger PROVES my theory of Pikachu manipulating Daisy. Think about it:
We've already had evidence of Daisy doing some pretty evil stuff when Pikachu is conscious, and when he left her to get revenge on Incineroar, she had no idea what to do--because HE was the one giving the commands in their "friendship" up until the point he left.
Earlier in the comic, it shows Pikachu giving a flower to Daisy. She didn't give him anything (though a Thunder Stone would make some sense). HE offered to HER, and when she took the offer, he had her under his control.
There's probably more than I can think of that supports this theory, but Daisy's rant about Pikachu leaving her and making her go insane is the strongest evidence so far.
I love all your ideas and theories, you put a lot of thought into this and I really appreciate it man. I can't say much without giving stuff away so I'm afraid we'll just have to wait and see! :]
Hey man! I'm so happy to see you here and am so glad to see you posting your stuff up here too!
It's abysmal what they did to Smackjeeves!
I wish you all the best too, look forward to continue following your work here or wherever you choose to put it. :)
Many times has it really impressed me and even subverted my expectations. I have many little theories about Daisy, and how I believe that she’s right when she says “I’m not entirely Daisy. And I’m not entirely human”. But I’ll discover if they’re true or not on May 4th(when you release the next update).
Also, I’ll be honest, Pikachu’s feel in the story and he’s developed in it so far reminds me a lot of Syndrome from The Incredibles. He didn’t NEED to turn the way he did, but he was taken over with one desire: to turn Incineroar into the selfish, careless Pokémon he once was by force.
I honestly want to know if Incineroar is going to surpass the violent nature of Pikachu, or even survive.
I don’t know what’s gonna happen, but I’ll feel sad if Incineroar’s son is left alone, as in... ...Incineroar himself dies.
Thanks so much for the kind words DiegoAlexGamer59! It means a lot to me that you're enjoying the comic. I never actually realized the parallels with Syndrome from The Incredibles until you pointed it out, but I can absolutely see it now. Nice catch!
I have a lot planned for the future of this series beyond this particular story. I get your concerns, and I can't spoil anything, but the themes of change, loss & acceptance are paramount to the overall story here so it's safe to say there will be some hardship ahead. I think the end justifies the means but obviously that's because I know how it ends. I hope you continue to read the comic and would love to hear your thoughts once this first story is over. :)
There's still a lot more to come though, so your questions about Daisy might not be answered for a while. She will play a fundamental role in the story going forward and everything that happens in the future of this series will depend on what happens to her here. Anyway, hoping the ending lives up to your expectations. Sorry in advance if it doesn't :p

I’m really hoping for the finale to be epic.
