Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

What Comes Next [ Mar 18, 2024 ]

The War is Over. We Won.

The war is over, but This Means War has a ways to go. Novo Paolo/Bubbleopolis is still in a nebula/stellar nursery, no one knows what happened to the planet Sharen (center of the Intergalactic Council), and the status of the now-surrendered Invaders is yet to be resolved. What will they do when they learn their homeworld is basically destroyed? Will Alyss and Li be re-united? How about Diana (the real one) and Otto?

These questions will be resolved in the next few weeks, before This Means War part 3 wraps in late May.

After that, I plan to go BACK in time about 400 years, to when Alyss and Li left their home in the Sol System to colonize a new world on the far side of the galaxy. As one might expect, hijinks ensue. New subtitle yet to be determined, start date sometime in around the start of July. Stay tuned!

Bok: It is now five days since the Pillars declared the invasion is ended.
Bok: And, they’ve been five very busy days for the Pillars.
Panel 2
Inside the new Garibaldi sphere, the campus for the prisoners. Simple block structures with some greenery. Bok continues:.
Bok: The armistice obligated the Pillars to house and feed almost 9,800 Invaders, including solders, technicians, and others.
Bok: The soldiers will likely be transferred an IGC-aligned world as soon as possible.
Panel 3
On screen behind Bok is his best enemy, Jerome Fallstaff. Allain is standing near him.
Bok: Some of the executives have petitioned to stay, but the cost to them will be difficult to bear.
Jerome: Thirty years of indentured servitude is outrageous! We were simply following orders!
Panel 4
Bok speaks from an inset this time: Show the Pillars plus the newcomers (Mitch is transparent, like a ghost) (Pp.40-41)
Bok: The Pillars will be expanding their number soon, as other leaders have emerged in the crisis
Bok: New members are Gilead Verdura, Dio Acharya, Boudica Chan, plus Mitch Stouder, after he is resurrected.

Panel 5
The original 5 Pillars are at the table we first saw in Part 1. Standing to face them is William Inigo Francisco Montoya. Bok speaks from an inset.
Bok: But just before them, the Pillars will be receiving some special petitioners.
Montoya: Gentlebeings, I come before you to present a petition for ending a banishment order...

Panel 6
Appearing next to Montoya is an old friend.

Montoya: That order having been placed 251 years ago on Situ Li-Liang, aka Jesús Hernandez.
Montoya: Furthermore, we have a proposal for you to consider.
