I had forgotten. It looks like when a dragonfly meets
a “match” it’s instinctive for both, they just click.
Just like when I met that skinny 17 y/o back in ’82,
she just clicked to me, like something was missing
til then… I never expected I’d see her again 2 years
later.
“Recognition” in a sense similar-but-not-the-same as in Elfquest,
as that also happens immediately but involves recognizing their
DNA is suitably matched for producing exceptional children.
This has to be more about recognizing matching psyches,
or mutual needs, or maybe that each has what the other needs.
