It is the year 2072, the shadow of the World Government looms over the globe and tension can be felt in every corner. An unexpected discovery falling from space is set to break this tension, one way or another. We look now at a stranger, a nobody. A man who finds, or perhaps is found by, a yet stranger dog by the name of Icon. In an innocuous attempt to return the pet to their owner, our protagonist is entangled in the works of a small insurgent group and is now forced to follow them. What an unfortunate coincidence.
As the gears of the world stage turn and the pieces are slowly set in place, the rebel troupe known as Heavensroad is heading towards their next mission. Their target is a man by the name of Evgen Drakov, the primus inter pares— Prime Minister—of the World Congress. Drakov has secretly scheduled a meeting with the director of Montenegro Industries, a government-partnered technology firm and arms manufacturer. Here shall be decided the fate of the most important man in the world.
Deep into the labyrinthine subterranean hallways of Montenegro Industries, the vanguard of Heavensroad battles its way towards its final target. With the gargantuan robotic protector defeated, the now cornered Prime Minister and company are forced to take drastic measures. There is no escape from above, and certainly not from below. A clash is nothing but inevitable now.
The disparate conflicts spread underground pause for a moment as the name of Evgen Drakov echoes through the walls. But the fight goes on regardless, loose ends are resolved to tie. As midnight closes in, the mission steps towards its end. Will our protagonists succeed? One thing is certain: few will be exiting unchanged. None more than our protagonist. A storm is brewing on the horizon.
