Cyberpunk'd

Email Me Biff on Twitter -
After I got this strip done, I decided to spend some time with a couple of games - Fallout 4 and Cyberpunk 2077.

To no one's surprise, I modded them to be better. FO4 is a Bethesda title. No matter the fixes they do in-house, there's always better out there. And Cyberpunk was a buggy mess, got plenty of solid updates and currently has a number of mods to mostly make it look better and run smoother on my older GPU.

I also added Furries to them. = )

Well... Technically, I added anthro Dinos to Fallout 'cause it was funnier considering the less terrible part of the game's initial story. = P

Anyhoo! This got me back into the modding mood. Namely for Cyberpunk as I had a bunch up front, got busy with actual work then needed to pretty much wipe the slate clean 'cause everything was either broken or needed an update. So I spent the last few hours before posting this whipping up some stuff and trying to figure out the ins and outs for some theoretical fun stuff later. I think my biggest things so far is fighting the load order for some of the cosmetic mods.

You'd Think it'd be simple and not really matter much but... Yeah! Not the case!

Does this mean you might get to tool around Night City as Biff and the Crew at some point?

Probably not. This game seems very much against keeping things simple. I was working up a skintone mod that would let me run a few comic characters (Like Nightcrawler and Blink). Things were going fine until I noticed the skintones were appearing on NPCs. Like... important NPCs. Unless I can figure that out, it's a safe bet there's not going to be a Biff 2K77 pack. Heck, I still haven't found the right files to mess with give my V goofy vampire teeth.

Anyhoo! Time for me to get up and stretch. I still have some laundry to fold and a script to finish. Got a funny idea for the Bear Bros that I've been picking at. Finally getting it down on paper.

Remember: Stay Safe. Wear a Mask if you need to. Get vaccinated if you can. Get a booster if you're already good on all that. And remember to keep your head up.

'Till next time! = )
